Who’s behind the brand?

Hey, I’m Dani; founder of Feel Calmer and dreamer of big ideas.

This fledgling company was born from a realisation that perhaps it is possible to turn your passion into your career: sharing the science-backed benefits of mindfulness, yoga and self-explorative practices with others and slowly witnessing the gradual dawning of greater peace, self-acceptance and happiness that follows.

Over the past 10 years, I have explored many different means of managing my own flare ups of anxiety, stress and low mood, both through my own research and with guidance from experienced professionals. Now, I practice a honed combination of mindfulness, movement, journaling and gratitude which I view as ‘maintenance’ for my own mental fitness.

Alongside my years of personal exploration, I have completed the following qualifications to equip me with the skills I need to help people professionally:

  • Yoga Teacher Training

  • Sound Healing Level 1

  • Yoga4Health training (accredited by the Personalised Care Institute)

  • Counselling Skills Level 2
